Tim Hopkins

Tim Hopkins has held an academic position as Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Otago Medical School in New Zealand; and later, a managerial position in the Biotechnology Division of Phillips Petroleum Research, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He is an inventor or co-inventor of numerous products and currently holds over two dozen US Patents. He has an MA in Biochemistry, Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, and was a Post Doctoral Fellow in Physical Chemistry.

Tim is the owner and CEO of BioSpec Products Inc. Since its founding in 1979, BioSpec Products has been designing, producing, and selling laboratory equipment worldwide to researchers in the Biotechnology field.
