The ability of a patient's body to stop bleeding via blood coagulation can be compromised for many reasons. A hemostasis analyzer can analyze compromised icteric, hemolytic, and lipemic samples in as little as 3 minutes. User-friendly test menus include rapid mechanical, optical, chromogenic or immunoturbidimetric assays for routine and/or STAT testing. A good hemostasis analyzer (or coagulation analyzer) will provide either mechanical or optical clot detection – premium hemostasis analyzers can accomplish both.
