A temperature test chamber is a specialized piece of equipment used for environmental testing, semiconductor testing, chemical stability testing, and more. The size of a temperature chamber can range from a small, benchtop unit to a very large industrial unit, but should always maintain an even and accurate temperature throughout the chamber. Temperature chambers typically have a temperature range from a minimum of -40 to -80C to a maximum around 300C to 350C, depending on the type of compressor. Many testing protocols require testing at different temperatures and temperature test chambers with rapid change rates allow more precise measurements. Temperature chambers may also meet GMP/GLP standards and interface with software meeting FDA guideline 21 CFR part 11.
