The portable Moisture Meter enables the precise determination of water activity (aw) in various products. It measures water activity in the range from 0 to 1.0000 aw and Moisture Meter with one sensor / Measuring mode: fast, normal or continuous / Sample temperature / Practical case for mobile use
The portable Moisture Meter enables the precise determination of water activity (aw) in various products. It measures water activity in the range from 0 to 1.0000 aw and temperatures from -10 to 50°C / 14 ... 122°F. The aw value indicates the proportion of free, unbound water in organic products such as foodstuffs or pharmaceuticals and is referred to as water activity. This value is crucial for assessing the shelf life and quality of products, as it influences the growth of microorganisms, molds and yeasts. In contrast to the total moisture content of a product, the Aw value is largely responsible for microbial stability.
The Moisture Meter delivers highly accurate results within just 3 to 5 minutes and works with precise sensors that ensure an accuracy of ± 0.015 aw in the temperature range of 10 to 30°C / 50 ... 86°F. It has three different measurement modes: normal mode, fast mode and continuous display mode. Calibration can be performed with one or more points (two, three or four points). The 2.8" TFT colour display ensures clear and intuitive operation, while the portable design and supplied instrument case allow flexible use in the field.
The device also offers extensive data management functions and can store up to 5,030 data records. The measurement results can be easily transferred to the software and output via the micro USB port. Power is supplied either via a 5V USB cable or four AA batteries, making it ideal for different environments and longer test times. Typical applications for the Moisture Meter include quality control in the food industry, pharmaceutical production processes, food and drug research institutes, the cosmetics industry, animal feed production, biological research centers, inspection and quarantine services and other laboratory analyses, for example in the tobacco and paper industries.
In addition to the sensor and the sample holder, the scope of delivery includes ten measuring beakers, the software, a USB cable, operating instructions and a practical carrying case. With the Moisture Meter, users receive a high-quality, portable measuring device for fast and precise determination of water activity, which is characterised by user-friendliness, versatile application options and maximum measuring accuracy.... The CO2 analyser has a measuring range of 0 ... 9999 ppm. In addition to the carbon dioxide measurement, the air quality detector also has a carbon monoxide (CO) sensor with a measuring range of 0 ... 1000 ppm and a temperature and humidity sensor. The air quality detector already covers a large range of measuring tasks. The air quality detector is therefore used, for example, in occupational safety to check the climatic conditions in office workplaces.... To assist the user, the Material Tester emits both an acoustic signal and an LED display as soon as the preset torque value is reached. Four different units of measurement (Nm, kgf-cm, lbf-ft, lbf-in) and three measuring modes - real time, peak value and preset - make it flexible to use. Automatic switch-off after a few minutes saves the batteries, and up to 999 measured values can be stored in the internal memory. The stored values can only be called up on the device.
The Material Tester is equipped with a fine-toothed ratchet head, which enables precise work even with a small radius of movement. Thanks to its robust construction made of metal and resistant plastic, it is durable and suitable for regular use. Our Material Testers are primarily used in vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, bicycle assembly and in the electrical and electronics industry. They are used to tighten bolts and nuts to a precisely defined torque in order to connect components securely and function properly without damaging them. The Material Tester is supplied in a plastic case with 2 AAA batteries.... Our Radiation Detector is mainly used to measure gamma, beta and X-rays and uses a Geiger-Müller counter to measure the intensity of ionising radiation. The measuring range extends from 0 ... 10 mSv/h. The cumulative dose, average and maximum dose are shown on the larg 2.3 inch multifunctional display, while the real-time measurements are also shown graphically.
The device has two alarm modes: the radiation alarm (0 ... 100 µSv/h) and the cumulative radiation alarm (0 ... 100 mSv). Both alarms are equipped with different settings for visual, audible and vibrating warning signals. The energy range of the device is between 48 and 1500 keV. The radiation measuring device is equipped with a micro USB interface and a rechargeable lithium battery.
The Radiation Detector also displays the current battery level so that the user is always informed. The brightness of the display can be adjusted as required so that it is easier to read even in different lighting conditions. The date and time are also shown on the display.
This Radiation Detector is ideal for applications in research, medicine, industry and environmental protection. It can be used in nuclear power stations, hospitals, laboratories, radiation monitoring and emergency scenarios. Furthermore, it is also useful for construction companies that are working with radioactive materials and in environmental monitoring to ensure that radiation exposure remains within safe limits.... The Thickness Gauge has a globally unique measuring probe that can be swiveled through 90°, allowing you to always carry out precise coating thickness measurements. The Thickness Gauge with the compact, lightweight devices is barely larger than a measuring probe and is therefore ideal for on-site applications in hard-to-reach places. The handy metal housing is splash-proof to IP 64 for interference-free measurements in harsh environments. A coating thickness tester with flowing water protection is also available as an option. For a long service life with frequent measurements on rough surfaces, the measuring probe has a wear-resistant ruby probe pole.
With a single button and the self-explanatory, multilingual menu navigation, the Thickness Gauge is very easy to operate.
A Thickness Gauge is usually used in the quality assurance of coating processes. For example, to determine the paint thickness of a coating, when testing vehicles or steel structures or in fire protection (determining the coating thickness of steel doors). However, it is not only a Thickness Gauge, but can also be used to reliably measure rubber coatings, anodizing and galvanic coatings.
The Thickness Gauge uses a combined probe to measure insulating layers of paint, varnish, plastic, rubber, ceramic and galvanic coatings (excluding nickel) using the magnetic induction measuring method. The device is used on iron and steel substrates. It is also suitable for measuring insulating coatings (paint, plastic, etc.) using the eddy current method on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, bronze and non-magnetic stainless steels in accordance with ISO 2178 and ISO 2360.
To further process your measurement data, you can connect your Thickness Gauge to mobile Android and iOS devices. Or you can communicate with a Windows PC. Wireless technology makes it possible. With the Lima Connect app, you can manage projects and allocate the measuring points on a photo. The measurement results can be statistically analysed and displayed graphically. The app for Android, iOS and Windows is free of charge.... Read More |
