The Thickness Gauge has a globally unique measuring probe that can be swiveled through 90°, allowing you to always carry out precise coating thickness measurements. The Thickness Gauge with the compact, lightweight devices is barely larger than a measuring probe and is therefore ideal for on-site applications in hard-to-reach places. The handy metal housing is splash-proof to IP 64 for interference-free measurements in harsh environments. A coating thickness tester with flowing water protection is also available as an option. For a long service life with frequent measurements on rough surfaces, the measuring probe has a wear-resistant ruby probe pole.
With a single button and the self-explanatory, multilingual menu navigation, the Thickness Gauge is very easy to operate.
A Thickness Gauge is usually used in the quality assurance of coating processes. For example, to determine the paint thickness of a coating, when testing vehicles or steel structures or in fire protection (determining the coating thickness of steel doors). However, it is not only a Thickness Gauge, but can also be used to reliably measure rubber coatings, anodizing and galvanic coatings.
The Thickness Gauge uses a combined probe to measure insulating layers of paint, varnish, plastic, rubber, ceramic and galvanic coatings (excluding nickel) using the magnetic induction measuring method. The device is used on iron and steel substrates. It is also suitable for measuring insulating coatings (paint, plastic, etc.) using the eddy current method on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, bronze and non-magnetic stainless steels in accordance with ISO 2178 and ISO 2360.
To further process your measurement data, you can connect your Thickness Gauge to mobile Android and iOS devices. Or you can communicate with a Windows PC. Wireless technology makes it possible. With the Lima Connect app, you can manage projects and allocate the measuring points on a photo. The measurement results can be statistically analysed and displayed graphically. The app for Android, iOS and Windows is free of charge.... Our Decibel Meter records and visualises sound levels within a range from 20 to 130 dB in three manual measurement ranges and offers various measurement functions such as Hold, Max and Leq value. The Decibel Meter supports time weighting F, S and I as well as frequency weighting A, C and Z and can record sound within a frequency range from 25 to 130 dB.
With operation modes for Leq, 1/1 and 1/3 octave filter measurements, it covers a wide range of measurement requirements. The internal memory function enables automatic storage of up to 12 data groups for octave band measurements. In addition, up to 800 individual measurements and regular measurements can be saved over a period of up to 6 days. These functions make Decibel Meter s indispensable tools in acoustics to ensure both the protection of people and the quality of rooms and products. An RS232 interface can transfer the data via the optional software. An AC output is also available.
The Decibel Meter fulfils several standards, including IEC 61672-1, GB/T3785.2-2010 and IEC 1260-2014, all in class II, making it the ideal choice for standard-compliant measurements. The Decibel Meter is supplied with a windscreen in a practical carrying case.... The Material Tester offers a high accuracy of ±1% within the range of 10% ... 100% of the scale and can be operated in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
The Material Tester supports several operating modes such as Peak Hold, MAX, and real-time measurement. In Peak Hold mode, the maximum value is automatically stored, and the measurement data can be transferred via USB to the software, which also enables a pass/fail evaluation. Tolerance ranges can be set directly on the device, allowing values to be checked quickly. An integrated LED traffic light display shows the measured value at a glance.
The choice between the units Newton-meter (N·m), kilogram-force-centimeter (kgf·cm), and pound-force-inch (lbf·in) enables flexible applications across various industries. With a storage capacity of 2,000 measurement groups and the option of data transfer via USB, the measuring instrument is ideal for use in the mechanical engineering industry and in scientific research facilities.
The Material Tester operates reliably at ambient temperatures of 5 to 40°C / 41 … 104°F and is powered by a 7.2V NiMH battery, which is optimized for mobile use.... Read More |
