The Thickness Gauge has a globally unique measuring probe that can be swiveled through 90°, allowing you to always carry out precise coating thickness measurements. The Thickness Gauge with the compact, lightweight devices is barely larger than a measuring probe and is therefore ideal for on-site applications in hard-to-reach places. The handy metal housing is splash-proof to IP 64 for interference-free measurements in harsh environments. A coating thickness tester with flowing water protection is also available as an option. For a long service life with frequent measurements on rough surfaces, the measuring probe has a wear-resistant ruby probe pole.
With a single button and the self-explanatory, multilingual menu navigation, the Thickness Gauge is very easy to operate.
A Thickness Gauge is usually used in the quality assurance of coating processes. For example, to determine the paint thickness of a coating, when testing vehicles or steel structures or in fire protection (determining the coating thickness of steel doors). However, it is not only a Thickness Gauge, but can also be used to reliably measure rubber coatings, anodizing and galvanic coatings.
The Thickness Gauge uses a combined probe to measure insulating layers of paint, varnish, plastic, rubber, ceramic and galvanic coatings (excluding nickel) using the magnetic induction measuring method. The device is used on iron and steel substrates. It is also suitable for measuring insulating coatings (paint, plastic, etc.) using the eddy current method on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, bronze and non-magnetic stainless steels in accordance with ISO 2178 and ISO 2360.
To further process your measurement data, you can connect your Thickness Gauge to mobile Android and iOS devices. Or you can communicate with a Windows PC. Wireless technology makes it possible. With the Lima Connect app, you can manage projects and allocate the measuring points on a photo. The measurement results can be statistically analysed and displayed graphically. The app for Android, iOS and Windows is free of charge.... The Cable Detector supports shielded and unshielded twisted-pair cables of categories Cat 3, Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7, Cat 7A, as well as coaxial cables, such as those used in TV, antenna, and surveillance systems.
Testing is carried out using a two-part system consisting of a main unit and a remote unit, which also allows permanently installed cables to be tested reliably. The most important test procedures include continuity testing of the conductors (pins 1–8), wiring testing to check the correct assignment of the wire pairs, and the detection of short circuits, wiring faults, and split-pair faults. In addition, the shielding of shielded cables is checked. The test range covers cable lengths of up to 305 m, whilst the minimum cable length for split-pair detection is approximately 0.5 m.
Our Cable Detector operates using test signals transmitted between the main unit and the remote unit. The results are displayed via LED indicators. Steady LEDs indicate correct wiring, whilst flashing LEDs indicate faults in the respective wire pairs. Additional status LEDs indicate the type of fault, such as short circuit, miswiring, reversal, or split pair.
The Cable Detector is used in network technology, building cabling, and in IT and communications installations, and is designed for electricians, network technicians, and service technicians to quickly test cable runs.... It can be used in various areas, such as homes, offices, workshops, schools or public facilities. The Thermometer reliably measures the ozone content in the air and helps to recognize dangerous concentrations at an early stage and react accordingly.
The device records ozone values in the range of 0.00 ... 50.0 ppm with a high resolution of 0.01 ppm. In addition, the detector measures the relative humidity between 20 ... 85% (resolution: 1%) as well as the temperature in the range of -10 ... 50°C / 14 ... 122°F, whereby the temperature display can also be switched to Fahrenheit. All measured values are shown on an easy-to-read 2-inch LCD display with backlighting.
For even more convenience, the Thermometer has a standby mode that can be activated manually. If no input is made within 60 seconds, the display switches off automatically - but the device remains active. In the event of increased ozone values, the detector warns with a visual and acoustic alarm. This is supported by a traffic light function: green for 0.00 ... 0.10 ppm, orange for 0.11 ... 0.20 ppm and red for 0.21 ... 50.0 ppm. As soon as the limit value of 0.10 ppm is exceeded, an additional acoustic warning signal sounds to indicate a possible hazard.
Equipped with an integrated rechargeable lithium battery that can be conveniently charged via USB-C, the detector is particularly flexible to use. An integrated rubber strap makes it easy to transport and allows the device to be conveniently carried or hung up. A Thermometer is suitable for private individuals as well as for professionals in schools, care facilities, offices or industrial environments - wherever a safe indoor climate is important....
