A Air Quality Meter is an important device for monitoring indoor air quality. It can be used in a variety of ways - whether in homes, offices, workshops, schools or public facilities. The detector reliably measures the CO content in the air and makes it possible to recognize critical concentrations at an early stage and act accordingly.
The Air Quality Meter detects CO values in the range from 0 ... 500 ppm with a fine resolution of 1 ppm. It also measures the relative humidity in the range from 20 ... 85% (also with 1% resolution) and the temperature from -10 ... 50°C / 14 ... 122°F. If required, the temperature display can also be switched to Fahrenheit. All measured values are shown on a 2 inch LCD display.
In the event of increased CO values, the detector emits both visual and acoustic warning signals. An integrated traffic light function clearly displays the air quality: Green stands for 0 ... 100 ppm, orange for 101 ... 200 ppm and red for 201 ... 500 ppm. If the value exceeds 100 ppm, an additional acoustic warning signal sounds to indicate a potential health hazard.
Equipped with an integrated rechargeable lithium battery that can be conveniently charged via USB-C, the detector is particularly flexible to use. An integrated rubber strap makes it easy to transport and allows the device to be carried or hung up conveniently. The Cable Detector has three detection modes: the metal detection mode for identifying metal objects, the wood detection mode for localising wooden beams and the power mode for detecting live wires. In the metal and power line modes, the device displays the signal strength as a percentage. In wood detection mode, the scanner recognises both the exact centre and the edges of wooden beams, allowing their position and size to be precisely determined.
To further improve the accuracy, the sensitivity can be adjusted in three stages so that the detection can be optimally adapted to the respective conditions. An integrated marking hole makes it possible to mark the drilling site immediately after detection. The Cable Detector also offers automatic calibration, which can be performed on any wall surface. The menu is available in five languages: Russian, English, Portuguese, Japanese as well as Chinese. The automatic switch-off is adjustable and can vary between 5 and 15 minutes or be deactivated completely, depending on requirements. The acoustic signal can also be switched off if required.
