The Cable Detector supports shielded and unshielded twisted-pair cables of categories Cat 3, Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7, Cat 7A, as well as coaxial cables, such as those used in TV, antenna, and surveillance systems.
Testing is carried out using a two-part system consisting of a main unit and a remote unit, which also allows permanently installed cables to be tested reliably. The most important test procedures include continuity testing of the conductors (pins 1–8), wiring testing to check the correct assignment of the wire pairs, and the detection of short circuits, wiring faults, and split-pair faults. In addition, the shielding of shielded cables is checked. The test range covers cable lengths of up to 305 m, whilst the minimum cable length for split-pair detection is approximately 0.5 m.
Our Cable Detector operates using test signals transmitted between the main unit and the remote unit. The results are displayed via LED indicators. Steady LEDs indicate correct wiring, whilst flashing LEDs indicate faults in the respective wire pairs. Additional status LEDs indicate the type of fault, such as short circuit, miswiring, reversal, or split pair.
The Cable Detector is used in network technology, building cabling, and in IT and communications installations, and is designed for electricians, network technicians, and service technicians to quickly test cable runs.... The Clamp Meter is suitable for measuring resistance, temperature, diodes, continuity, frequencies and The Clamp Meter is a multifunctional meter for the precise measurement of alternating and direct voltage as well as alternating current that can be measured without direct contact to the line. The Clamp Meter is suitable for measuring resistance, temperature, diodes, continuity, frequencies and capacitance and is particularly useful for diagnosing electrical and electronic components.
For maximum measurement accuracy, the Clamp Meter supports True RMS for non-sinusoidal waveforms and a Low Impedance (LoZ) function to reduce interference. The non-contact voltage test enables reliable detection of voltages in cables and sockets.
The 2-inch LC display ensures clear readability, even under poor lighting conditions and an integrated LED torch makes it easier to work in dark environments. The device also offers automatic and manual measurement range selection, allowing it to be flexibly adapted to different measuring situations. Other functions include overload protection, data hold, min, max and an automatic power-off after 15 minutes to conserve battery life. The power-off can also be deactivated for longer measurements.
Compact and easy to use, the Clamp Meter is ideal for electrical installations, maintenance work and use in automation technology. It enables safe and efficient measurements, often without direct intervention in the circuit.... The Radiation Detector is a compact and handy measuring device for precise monitoring of the radon concentration indoors. With a measuring range of 0 ... 9999 Bq/m³ and a semiconductor detector, the Radiation Detector provides reliable measured values after just one hour. It provides both short-term average values (updated hourly) and long-term average values (updated every 24 hours up to 1 year) for a detailed analysis of radon exposure. These values are stored in the device and updated regularly. After a battery change or by pressing the reset button, all stored data is deleted and the monitor is reset to the original measured value.
The e-paper display shows the values in Bq/m³ or pCi/L, depending on the selected unit, which can be set by the user. The device has an audible and visual alarm with colour coding: Green for values below 100 Bq/m³ (safe), yellow for values between 100 and 150 Bq/m³ (low exposure) and red for values above 150 Bq/m³ (high exposure).
With its dimensions of 103 x 103 x 33 mm, the Radiation Detector is particularly compact and can be set up or hung up. It is powered by AAA batteries and is therefore mobile and flexible in use. This makes the Radiation Detector ideal for use in residential, office, school and industrial buildings for fast and reliable monitoring of radon levels.... Whether in urban noise measurement stations, on factory floors, in schools or in research projects - this Sound Sensor provides reliable measured values to fulfil safety and comfort The Sound Sensor is ideal for all applications where ambient noise or noise levels need to be monitored precisely. Whether in urban noise measurement stations, on factory floors, in schools or in research projects - this Sound Sensor provides reliable measured values to fulfil safety and comfort requirements. The sensor covers a measuring range of 30 ... 120 dBA and operates in the frequency range from 20 ... 12500 Hz. The resolution is typically 1 dB, which is sufficient for most practical applications, while the accuracy is ±2% of the measuring range plus ±0.5 dB, based on the reference tone of 94 dB at 1 kHz. The Sound Sensor therefore provides a precise and reliable basis for all acoustic measurements.
The specific technical features include a digital interface via RS-485 with Modbus RTU, which enables easy integration into existing systems. The sensor utilizes a high-quality condenser microphone with A-weighting, which takes into account the human sense of hearing. The response time is a maximum of 2 seconds. The Sound Sensor is suitable for wall mounting and has a weatherproof housing that is also designed for outdoor use. The device is particularly interesting for companies, authorities or research institutions that require continuous monitoring of noise sources, for example in production facilities, traffic controls or urban noise projects....
