The Material Tester offers a high accuracy of ±1% within the range of 10% ... 100% of the scale and can be operated in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
The Material Tester supports several operating modes such as Peak Hold, MAX, and real-time measurement. In Peak Hold mode, the maximum value is automatically saved, and the measurement data can be transferred via USB to the software, which also enables a pass/fail evaluation. Tolerance ranges can be set directly on the device, allowing values to be checked quickly. An integrated LED traffic light display shows the measured value at a glance.
The choice between the units Newton-meter (N·m), kilogram-force-centimeter (kgf·cm), and pound-force-inch (lbf·in) enables flexible applications across various industries. With a storage capacity of 2,000 measurement groups and the option of data transfer via USB, the measuring instrument is ideal for use in the mechanical engineering industry and in scientific research facilities.
The Material Tester operates reliably at ambient temperatures of 5 to 40°C / 41 … 104°F and is powered by a 7.2 V NiMH battery, which is optimized for mobile use.... In torque mode, the desired torque can be set quickly and continuously. The value can be conveniently adjusted using the operating buttons and the screwdriving process begins with a simple pull of the trigger. Angle mode enables controlled tightening not only via the torque, but also via the angle of rotation - perfect for applications that require maximum precision. In addition, Point Mode offers up to six memorizable presets for frequently used torque values. These can be individually configured and called up at the touch of a button during operation - ideal for recurring assembly tasks.
Other highlights of the torque screwdriver include precise torque adjustment with high repeat accuracy, a multi-stage gearbox for reliable power transmission and alarm and monitoring functions that help the user to assess the tightening result. Integrated protective functions such as temperature monitoring prevent overheating and extend the service life of the tool. Thanks to the replaceable battery, uninterrupted work is also guaranteed. Another highlight is the software supplied, which can be used to conveniently read out all the recorded screwdriving data. This allows users to document and analyze torque values, results and process data. The software also allows centralized settings to be made directly on the device.
