The balance works on the principle of drying with simultaneous weighing. During drying, the weight loss is continuously recorded and displayed as a percentage of the total mass.
The balance has two adjustable heating temperature ranges: 40 °C ... 180 °C and 105 °C ... 360 °C - which are made possible by two powerful radiant heaters: a 250 W infrared heater and a 375 W quartz heater. These heating elements ensure precise and efficient drying results and can be operated independently of each other in timer or automatic mode. For measurement evaluation, the device offers various parameters such as % moisture, % dry matter, % moisture bd as well as g residual weight / kg and residual weight, which enable the sample to be analysed.
The functions include an automatic power-off function, which stops the drying process when the constant weight is reached. The automatic power-off can be set to three criteria: start of sampling, sampling interval and weight loss per sampling interval.
