Tube Luminometer

Tube luminometers are instruments used to measure the luminescence, or light emitted without heat, from a selected sample. Tube luminometers are used in life sciences to run gene, enzyme, and intracellular calcium assays and ATP measurements. The tube luminometer can be portable or non-portable, may have fluorescence detectors that allow for additional testing, and be capable of using liquid and/or solid samples. Different tube luminometers have different ranges, so some may need samples to be diluted while others will not.

Key considerations for purchasing a tube luminometer

When a tube luminometer is chosen, there are several characteristics to look for, including how much data is stored and for how long, if there is a minimum sample size, and how many samples tubes it can accommodate at once.
