Laboratory Water Bath

Laboratory water baths are a staple used by researchers and industry technicians for incubation, thawing, warming reagents, microbiological assays and more. Water baths come in many types, such as static – where the water remains still, shaking – which has a built-in shaking platform on the bottom, and circulating – which has a paddle that gently stirs the water. Circulating water baths will also reach temperature more quickly and maintain that temperature better than static baths. Other things to consider are reliability, size, and available features such as timers.
