Infrared Gas Sensor

Infrared gas sensors utilize a beam of infrared light to detect and often quantify, the presence of numerous gasses. Detectable gasses will vary depending on the infrared gas sensor model, but some commonly detected gasses include CO2, CO, CH4, refrigerant gases, and numerous others. Infrared gas sensors offer a long operational life as well as robust and reliable detection and quantification of gasses. When comparing Infrared gas sensors ensure that the accuracy is compatible with your specific needs. While infrared gas sensors are highly accurate, their accuracy can vary depending on the model. Be sure to also consider how you will interface with your gas sensor, certain models offer connectivity with lab computers and data logging software.
