Incorporating Shimadzu s Digital Strain Processing Engine to improve the capturing and processing of sensor results, the SIE-560 Series employs magnetic-induction linear sensors, as well as strain-gauge sensors (560S only) to deliver results with better information and a higher level of repeatability.
Features:
High Measurement Accuracy
Both models use high-accuracy magnetic induction linear sensors, which are light, compact, and capable of measurement accuracy significantly superior to conventional sensors in both small and large elongation ranges.
Strain-gauge Sensor
In addition to the magnetic induction linear sensor, the SIE-560S incorporates an ultra-accurate strain gauge sensor that rests at the tip of the specimen mounting arms. This enhances measurement accuracy in the small-elongation range.
Digital Strain Processing Engine
Using a high-speed CPU to measure sensor outputs at high resolution, the engine then rapidly processes the large volumes of data. Real-time digital calibration of the engine allows highly repeatable data output, contributing to greater accuracy.

The TRViewX is available in single- and double-camera models with seven different models available based on the camera’s field of view. The single-camera TRViewX has camera field of views ranging from 55 mm to 800 mm. The double-camera TRViewX comes with 120 mm and 500 mm cameras or 120 mm and 800 mm cameras. When using a double-camera model, the system can switch automatically between both cameras.
Features
- Absolute accuracy of ±1.5 µm and relative accuracy ±0.5 %
- Standard width measurement functionality
- Video and still image report functionality, enabling playback to be synchronized with the S-S curve
TRViewX operates easily with TRAPEXIUMX software. Users simply select testing conditions to automatically set the measurement mode. The software synchronizes to the beginning and end of testing, and makes it possible to measure the actual gauge length when testing starts."
