A solid NMR probe with the throughput of a liquid NMR probe
The JEOL ROYAL PROBE™ AUTOMAS provides a breakthrough system for liquid NMR probe users who may have felt that it is troublesome to use solid NMR probes.
The ROYAL PROBE™ AUTOMAS has the following features: - Switches between solid samples without removing the probe
- Uses the existing Auto Sample Changer and auto tuning function as is
- Offers the same ease of use as the liquid NMR probes in routine measurements

The JEOL HXY NMR probe, with rotor diameters including 4 mm, 3.2 mm and 2 mm are ideally suited for material science work on a wide variety of samples including for example: catalysts, MOF’s, and polymers. Probes with sample tubes up to 4 mm in diameter balance optimal data collection, spinning speed, and rf performance with high-resolution CPMAS, MQMAS and 1H NMR experiments.
The triple resonance JEOL HCN MAS NMR probe is designed for biological samples. Wide range sample stators (0.75mm, 1mm, 2mm, and 3.2mm) are available for 1H, 13C, 15N NMR experiments. The HCN NMR probe with a long-term VT system maintains the desired sample temperature at high MAS speeds.... JEOL offers three types of cryogenic probes for solution NMR: - UC: UltraCOOL probe
- SCO: SuperCOOL MARVEL Open type
- SCC: SuperCOOL MARVEL Closed type
All probes are capable of controlling the sample temperature over a very wide range from -40°C to +150°C. The Probe Lifter and Probe Arm are available as optional accessories to alleviate probe exchange.
Features - Ultra high sensitivity due to cryogenic capability
- About 1/4 of the running cost of UltraCOOL probe
- No need to fill the cooling system with liquid nitrogen
- Higher sensitivity than the open type
- Reasonable installation and running costs
- Uses liquid nitrogen as coolant
- Liquid nitrogen can be refilled during NMR measurement
