Submersible isokinetic laser diffraction instrument for in-situ measurement of suspended sediment size distribution and concentration in rivers and streams. Redesigned optics expanded grain size range from 2-386 µm to 1-500 µm. Active isokinetic pump matches intake velocity to river velocity. Current speed range: 0-3 m/s (0.03 m/s resolution). Battery life: 6 hours (rechargeable). Communication: 2-wire protocol with Bluetooth data link.
