Feature packed with a wide choice of CCD sensors
Norwich, UK: Artemis CCD Limited, a leading manufacturer of cooled CCD cameras for low-light applications announces a new camera design specifically aimed at Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of integrated imaging, spectroscopy and other low light detection systems. The VS range of thermoelectrically cooled cameras features CCD sensors from 1.4Mpixels to 9.2Mpixels resolution in both monochrome and colour. This new model series boasts a comprehensive feature list for ease of customer integration. In addition to a class leading low noise mode, each model also features a Live View option permitting real time focusing and keeping set up time to a minimum. Artemis CCD has built a strong reputation for high capability cooled CCD cameras at a competitive pricing level and the new VS range continues that philosophy yet provides an enhanced flexibility of operation demanded by OEM designers.
Other features include an I/O port for external triggering and sequencing, extended cooling with a -35degC delta, up to 8x8 binning and 16 bit digitization at 12MPixels/s. For the first time in an Artemis CCD camera, the VS range will include a version with an integrated filter wheel fully controlled by the inclusive software package. Compatibility with LabVIEW and open source image analysis software such as ImageJ is carried over from the existing Artemis CCD range and a comprehensive Software Development Kit (SDK) will be available for download from the ArtemisCCD.com web site. The full range of cameras will be available from June 2013 and OEM customers are invited to discuss their specific needs at their earliest convenience.
