ACM Global Central Laboratory Appoints Timo Jackle as Vice President of Clinical Trials Operations

Accomplished Executive to Lead Global Strategy for Clinical Trials Operations

Rochester, NY, Apr. 9, 2013ACM Global Central Lab, the central laboratory that continually defines the customer-service standard with its flexible approach, is pleased to announce that Timo Jackle has joined the executive management team as vice president of clinical trials operations. Jackle will be responsible for overseeing project management, data management, study support, specimen management, and logistics activities for all of ACM Global’s U.S.-based clinical trials, as well as developing and implementing its strategy for operations globally.

“Timo is a highly collaborative leader with extensive experience in clinical trials research, quality assurance, global operations, and business process improvement,” said Angela J. Panzarella, president of ACM Global Central Lab. “His strong focus on customer service and lengthy track record in improving business processes will no doubt be an asset to our clients.”

Jackle joins ACM Global from Bausch & Lomb (B&L), where he served most recently as the executive director of global clinical trials operations, responsible for overseeing multi-national pharmaceutical and medical device clinical trials managed from seven locations around the globe. Prior to that, Jackle was based in Germany, where he served as director of global refractive R&D and R&D site leader for B&L’s refractive surgery subsidiary. Before moving to Germany, Jackle held progressively higher leadership roles in B&L’s global quality organization, ultimately leading B&L’s global quality team with responsibility for design quality, production and distribution quality and global compliance. Earlier in his career, Jackle held various product and process design roles at several small and large companies, including Pathways Thermal Technologies, The Toro Company, General Motors, and Bausch & Lomb.

Jackle graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and earned a master’s degree in quality and applied statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology.
