The LIP275 and LIP175 series provide highly effective vibration isolation for lab balances and other sensitive equipment such as microscopes or shakers.

Newport’s LIP Lab Isolation Platforms are designed to keep these vibrations out and make sure that measurements in the lab are always accurate, stable and repeatable.”
The LIP275 series from Newport features a sturdy PVC platform with a non-stick neoprene surface supported by three or four vibration isolation bearings. The passive, mechanical bearings employ Newport’s patented vibration isolation technology and effectively protect sensitive equipment from ambient vibrations and mechanical shocks. Platform sizes range from 8” x 10” to 12” x 22” with a load capacity up to 52 lbs.
The LIP175 series has been designed for less demanding applications and features patent pending elastomeric vibration isolation bearings that isolate vibrations horizontally and vertically. With sizes from 9” x 12” to 12” x 22” and loads up to 40 lbs., the LIP 175 series is an ideal choice for low to medium power microscopes, balances and other vibration sensitive equipment.
