Exhibit opportunities still available for interested companies

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA (18 September 2013) – The International Society of Automation (ISA) announces that it will unveil an innovative, island-style exhibit pavilion, capable of accommodating more than 10 automation company exhibitors, at the 2013 Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC 2013) to be held 7-9 October in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

ISA Automation Island—resembling a lush tropical island complete with natural palm trees, a Tiki Bar for refreshments and a “Barefoot Theater” for group presentations—is designed to serve as the central, one-stop gathering place for WEFTEC 2013 attendees looking to meet with a wide variety of leading automation, instrumentation, and control suppliers.

“In addition to its fun and inviting tropical theme and ambience, ISA Automation Island addresses the very practical needs of both exhibitors and exhibit attendees,” says Carol Schafer, a consultant for ISA’s Corporate Partnerships Program. “For exhibitors, they participate in a turn-key solution, with no set-up, disassembly, shipping and drayage hassles, that serves as the single point of contact for linking them with qualified prospects and customers. In addition, exhibitors benefit from various pre-show promotion and onsite exhibit logistics.

“For tradeshow attendees,” Schafer continues, “they don’t have to waste valuable time and effort going from one exhibit to the other across a sprawling, crowded exhibit floor. They can go to just one exhibit and meet with representatives of a diverse range of automation companies. And, of course, while they are on the Island, attendees can relax, enjoy a cool beverage and savor the feel of the tropics.”

Making it easy for attendees to find the right exhibitors will be a welcome achievement at WEFTEC, which will be held at the massive McCormick Place. WEFTEC is the world’s largest annual water quality exhibition, annually attracting more than 1,000 companies vying to display their water quality technology and services, and more than 18,000 attendees representing the $5.5 billion municipal and industrial wastewater treatment and water quality marketplace.

Among these attendees are engineers, scientists, managers, and government officials interested in automation technologies for municipal and industrial water and wastewater collection and treatment systems.

To date, five premier automation companies will be exhibiting at ISA Automation Island (booth #5241) during WEFTEC 2013:
