TRENTON, NEW JERSEY – November 14, 2011 - Princeton Instruments and Roper Scientific GmbH are pleased to announce that Ulrike Helfferich has been named as the Sales Director of Roper Scientific GmbH as of November 1st, 2011. Ms. Helfferich takes over for Willy Pfanhauser, Managing Director, who retires after a long and successful career in the scientific photonics industry.
Ms. Helfferich brings many years of sales and application experience in the photonic and opto-electronic markets to her new position supporting the German Sales Team. In her former employment she had responsibility for end-user system sales as well as for OEM business. At Roper Scientific GmbH, Ulrike will be responsible for sales and market development for Princeton Instruments spectrographs and cameras for scientific and industrial use. Bill Keating, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Princeton Instruments states, “I am happy to welcome Ms. Helfferich as Sales Director for our German sales office.
