The Laboratory Products Association (LPA) will hold its 2019 Annual Meeting on November 9-12 at The Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, California. Attendees can look forward to a wide array of expert speakers, as well as participate in exclusive networking opportunities with senior level executives while gaining informed and relevant data on market trends and topics.
This year’s theme is Forging the Future and there will be several keynote speakers addressing workforce innovation, leadership, management, as well as future trends and political perspectives that affect LPA members.
Alex Chausovsky of ITR Economics Group will open the meeting with insights into Managing in an Uncertain Economy. Cara Siletto, MBA, workforce thought leader, will delve into every area of a company’s environment and then reveal realistic solutions for systemic change with They Drive Me Crazy! The Generational Story You HAVEN’T Heard.
Opening the next morning will be Eric Maddox, who will explain to members the most effective way to gain and keep clients is by gaining their trust and by having a team of coworkers and leaders who are courageous and trustworthy though the process of constant change in Tracking Saddam: The Power of Empathy Based Listening.
Closing the Annual Meeting is Scott Parazynski, an innovator and former astronaut among many other attributes, who will leave the audience energized to innovate in their own offices as he presents on The Opportunity and The Obligation to Innovate.
Additional speakers include Rob Smith, who will provide a Government & Regulatory Affairs Update and will share his perspective as to what the impact may be for the LPA and lab products industry as we enter a new presidential election season. There will also be an expert from the cannabis industry to speak on the trends and how they will affect LPA members.
