With the innovative METTLER TOLEDO Excellence Dropping Point Systems, users can determine dropping and softening points of pitch, asphalt, polymers, resins, waxes and many more materials with full automatic operation.
The new instrument line includes two models:
DP70 – Determine the Dropping Point with just One Click™
This system allows for simultaneous analysis of two samples, delivering the mean value and the difference of the single results. Measurements can include conformity checks and automatic printout of results in one simple step.
DP90 – More Application Possibilities with Wider Temperature Range
Dropping point determinations at subambient temperature can be performed using a DP90 Dropping Point System. It consists of a control unit and a separate measuring cell, which can be placed into a refrigerator or deep freeze.
Excellence Dropping Point Systems guarantee reliable results through visual camera observation and digital image analysis. The systems feature intuitive color touch screen user interfaces that allow for simple instrument operation. One Click™ shortcut buttons provide secure and simple measurements through unique user specific home screens. As a result, the user is quickly familiarized with the instrument.
The DP70 and DP90 conform to current operating standards of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM International) and European Pharmacopeia to make it easier to compare measurement results.
