IDEX Health & Science, LLC has released its new Fat Film Membrane Degasser. The film degasser has been equipped with optimized performance in a smaller footprint. The control methodology shifts the emphasis from constant vacuum to constant performance by enabling the user to choose an optimal degassing efficiency for their HPLC method.
The Flat Film Degasser design includes a unique flow channel design and innovative membrane, delivering the lowest fluidic resistance in the industry. The membrane has been developed with a sufficient surface area to degas solvents up to 10 mL/min flow rate. Utilizing a non-metallic flow path, enabling application of the degasser to multiple types of HPLC methods.
The new vacuum control algorithm provides the user experience to integrate degasser into the separation method control protocol, and select a given efficiency for any HPLC system. This provides a wide variety of application for one unit.
