Redesigned to meet the needs of modern labs, Carver’s AutoPellet RP Series presses are ideal for preparing pellets for spectroscopy and fabricating spectroscopy samples, cakes, and briquettes from a wide range of powdered materials. They feature an enhanced color touchscreen interface, ergonomic design and a smaller footprint, and now deliver greater visibility, precision and control, as well as enhanced sample integrity.
The presses are available with capacities of either 25 tons or 40 tons. For flexibility across laboratory environments, force units are selectable in pounds, kilograms, U.S. tons, or metric tons.
Designed for ease of use and repeatability, the presses’ new touchscreen provides fully programmable control of clamp force, dwell time, decompression rate, and ejection force. The touchscreen can store up to 20 recipes for automated pelletizing cycles, ensuring consistent, repeatable results.
To maintain precise alignment, the presses have a rigid slab side construction.
