Next Generation DNA Sequencer

Next-generation DNA Sequencers are used to analyze DNA and RNA samples. By enabling single-nucleotide resolution, next-generation DNA sequencers are capable of detecting related genes, variants and polymorphisms. Compared to conventional sequencing methods, next-generation DNA sequencers have higher reproducibility and dynamic range while requiring less genetic material. Genetic material is identified via several different strategies. Popular detection methods include fluorescent identification, pyrosequencing, and proton sequencing. Next-generation DNA Sequencers support applications in whole-genome sequencing, exome sequencing, RNA-seq, mRNA-seq, targeted sequencing, amplicon sequencing, and chip-seq.
