Dry Bath Incubator / Dry Block Heater

Dry bath incubators are used in laboratories to heat samples prior to a variety of applications and are used widely in molecular, microbiological, and biochemistry labs. The term dry bath is used to differentiate these types of incubators from other methods of heating that rely on using a liquid. With dry block incubators, tubes are placed inside of heat block which even distributes heat. The number of blocks a unit has can determine the number of samples that can be heated at once. Most dry baths will come with either 1, 2, or 4 blocks. They can also be designed to hold more than one size of sample tube.
