HPLC Sample Preparation

High performance liquid chromatography is an important purification separation method used in many laboratories, but its performance is often dependent on sample purity, and achieving this can be frustrating and time consuming without the proper equipment. HPLC preparation systems, as their same suggests, attempt to offer fast and reliable filtration and purification using hydrophilic Nylon, PVDF, or polyethersulfone filters; alternatively, an HPLC sample preparation system can employ vacuum purification. HPLC sample preparation systems can handle sample volumes as small – or smaller than –100 µl (some vendors separate products by <100 µl and >100 µl capacity). HPLC sample preparation systems are often an alternative to syringe filters, accomplishing purification long before testing procedures begin.
