Water Bath System to Incubate Samples

I mainly use the water bath system for DNA extraction. This is efficient for the heating up the buffer and breaking down cells during the extraction procedure, a critical step of the method. Its easy to handle and there is not many requirements to get the desired temperature. However, there is a couple of issues with this instrument. First, there is no built-in supporting stand, we use our floaters to keep micro-centrifuge tubes and sometimes the machine takes too much time to reach at the set temperature. There is no suggestion/labeling which can let you know how much water/ice we should add to get the required temperature.
