Illuminator for Amplified Gene Cloning/Cutting

For gene cloning one of the important step after gene amplification and visualization, specific band cutting is important. I used Analytik Jena UV Transilluminator several times to cut the DNA bands for my gene cloning experiments. I was very comfortable to check the exact location of my amplified DNA and cutting the bands by simply wearing the shield and double layer gloves. I was also able to uplift the lid when needed, which was again easy to handle. Also, the machine was portable, which helped me to increase the productivity of my cloning experiments.
