I use this non-refrigerated microcentrifuge during plasmid extraction when I need to maintain the temperature near room temperature or a little above or below. The rotors are very flexible and the machine separates the samples with clear layers. You can easily set the rpm or ref units for rotation, rotation time, and temperature. Also, the opening and closing of the lid is very comfortable and easily accessible. The rotators' size is also quite accessible for a good number of tube sample separations at a time. I am very comfortable working with this machine and would recommend that all researchers use this machine.
