Casting Gel System
For several of my experiments I prepare agarose gels on a daily basis and for that purpose I mainly use Thermo Scientific Owl B2 system. It has casting trays that can hold two combs, which makes it easy to work with. Also, the buffer exchange ports make it easy to store the buffer for reuse without waste. In a normal electrophoresis system we waste a lot of buffer during transfer.
