We use this non-refrigerated microcentrifuge during plasmid extraction when we need to maintain the temperature near room temperature or a little above or below. The rotors are very flexible and the machine separates the samples with clear layers. The rotators' size is very accessible for a good number of tube sample separations at a time. We are very comfortable working with this machine and would recommend that all researchers use this machine.
