This is a perfect gel-doc for multiuser laboratories because of its compact and user-friendly features. Acquiring gel images with this system is very easy and the attached high resolution camera helps us to take various background images in the black and white format. The inbuilt analysis software not only helps us in understanding the gel images but also in interpreting the amplified gene bands. I use this machine in the lab on a daily basis for understanding genetic patterns of various DNA and RNA amplified gels and also for quantification purposes.
