The Vulcan Handheld LIBS Analyzer is a good and very effective instrument for performing rapid metal analysis. At our university, we used this tool for research work on metals. We use this tool for quality assurance as well. We analyze the metals like steel, aluminum, magnesium, precious metals: gold, silver, and many more. It provides very accurate results. It has no maintenance cost or we can say zero maintenance cost. This instrument uses a silicon-drift detector and runs on the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence principle.
