Expensive but Worth It

Was considering the Mastercycler X50 vs a couple other cheaper options. Ultimately went with the X50 and we don't regret it at all. It's super easy to use, and is very easy to maintain. I've always had good experiences with Eppendorf. Their tech support is always helpful and will help you keep your equipment up and running. So ultimately my review is not just for the equipment but the company as well, which plays into why I was willing to go for a little more expensive piece of equipment. Eppendorf makes it worth it.
