27th September 2012; Staffordshire, UK: Jenway has made Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) documentation for its 6850 Spectrophotometer available. IQ/OQ documentation is an important component of a quality management system. Using these documents users can verify and validate their instruments, ensuring that they meet the manufacturers specifications and fulfil their intended purpose.
The IQ documentation may be used by customers to ensure their instrument is installed correctly within a suitable environment. OQ documentation helps confirm that it is functioning within the defined specification. Users can therefore be certain that the 6850 spectrophotometer is working perfectly within the laboratory setting.
The 6850 spectrophotometer is Jenway’s first variable double beam spectrophotometer with spectral bandwidths of 0.5, 1, 2, 4 or 5nm. With a selection of measurement modes including photometrics and DNA/RNA and protein analysis, the instrument is ideally suited to quality control, general research, pharmaceutical, biochemical and clinical laboratory applications.
