Lincoln, NE — Teledyne Isco introduces its new software application for use on tablets and smartphone devices. The new application utilizes Wi-Fi technology to remotely monitor and control purification runs on Teledyne Isco’s CombiFlash® automated Flash chromatography systems.
After starting the run, you can monitor it from your linked mobile device while performing other important tasks. Remote capabilities include real-time monitoring, run parameter control, and post-run viewing of the data. During a purification run, you can zoom and scroll through the chromatogram, and monitor the status bar for flow rate, pressure, and run duration information. Other run-time features include play/pause/stop control, live gradient editing, run length adjustments, and peak collection mode changes.
Upon completion of the run, your mobile device displays the final results until you clear them. This allows another user to operate the system while you retain the chromatogram and fraction tube map for your post-purification work. Other useful features are message notifications from your CombiFlash system, and a convenient lockout feature that prevents accidental activation by your mobile device.
