Microbial Air Sampler

Airborne pathogens are among the most dangerous causes of known human ailments. The ability to detect airborne microbes is important to environmental management, as well as in clinical or point-of-care locations open to the public. A microbial air sampler can use standard 60-90mm agar plates in a rotating plate holder to obtain an even spread of microorganisms. A microbial air sampler can achieve an air flow of 100L/min, with a total air volume of 9999L. Microbial air samplers are powered by a Ni metal hydride 7.2V battery, with an operating time of 8 hours. Bar-code connectivity provides faster sample collection, as well as user and location information for high-throughput applications.
