Hypoxic Chamber

A hypoxic chamber, or hypoxia chamber, is a hermetically sealed laboratory chamber used to conduct tissue culture or live animal studies within a precisely controlled hypoxic environment. For laboratories conducting animal research within a hypoxic environment, hypoxic chambers are available in a hypoxic glove box configuration allowing researchers to work within the chamber without compromising the environment. Numerous sizes of hypoxic chambers are available, with sizes ranging from small tissue culture chambers to chambers large enough to house animal cages. Hypoxic chambers feature fine-tuning of oxygen levels via one-way valves and airlocks to allow researchers to precisely control the amount of oxygen in the environment.
