Mercury Analyzer / Mercury Vapor Analyzer (Hg Analyzers)

Even small amounts of mercury in food products or the environment at large can be dangerous. A mercury vapor analyzer (also known as Hg analyzers) detects trace levels of Hg at concentrations as low as .01 parts-per-trillion, through heat-vaporization, cold vaporization, or reducing vaporization. Detection is carried out through atomic absorption or fluorescence spectroscopy. A mercury analyzer vapor analyzer can have a sample capacity of up to 270 samples. Redundant rinse cycles enable effective clearing of the test chamber, preventing contamination of samples by residual reagents, and exposure of personnel to toxic fumes. These mercury analyzers offer test times of 300 seconds or less.
