LABS, Inc. Names Aaron Schieving Business Development Manager

Centennial, CO (April 24, 2012) – LABS, Inc., a global, full-service testing laboratory with more than 30 years of expertise in regulated testing for human organs, cells, tissues and implantable biologic products and devices, today announced the hire of Aaron Schieving as Business Development Manager.

In his new role, Schieving will be responsible for identifying new market segments, client prospects, sales channels and fostering fresh strategic alliances that allow for dynamic and sustained growth within existing and future markets. Schieving will focus on building LABS’ reputation as the premier complex biologic testing laboratory while strengthening its leadership position within the donor-derived transplant market.

Schieving joins LABS from Nelson Laboratories, Inc., where he worked for nearly five years, most recently as Business Development Manager and Tissues & Biologics Account Manager. In these roles Schieving provided education to the biomedical community in an effort to increase safety of products reaching the market, and worked to advance the science of allograft bone and tissue transplantation.

“Aaron brings to LABS a solid tenure in laboratory business development at a time when we are rapidly expanding our testing offerings for existing and new clients,” said Elizabeth Hearty, Chief Executive Officer of LABS, Inc. “Aaron’s depth of expertise in the biomedical and transplant industries makes him a natural fit with the LABS team.”

Schieving is a Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA), holds an Executive Certificate of Global Business Management and a certification from the America Society for Quality (ASQ).
