Quantachrome's new Porometer 3G - a state-of-the-art capillary flow porometer for measuring through-pore sizes of textiles, filters and membranes - will be making its Techtextil debut in March 2011 in Las Vegas! The Porometer 3G is available in four versions, each one a compact bench top unit. Using the technique known as liquid expulsion, they measure pore size distributions and other related information of through-pores. The Porometer 3G series provides exceptional performance in compact desk top units. They are equally appropriate for material science testing labs, research and development and quality control departments. Applications using porometers are very diverse and include medical textiles, automotive fabrics, packaging, specialized clothing found in sports, and all sorts of industrial, construction, and remediation uses employing technical textiles.
