Dual validation testing with 0 – 1050 NTU range
Erlanger, KY (December 14, 2012) – The new Palintest Compact Turbimeter allows field testing for turbidity and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in drinking water, wastewater and surface water. The device includes the new QuadoptiX™ optical bench, which uses two independent turbidity measurement systems for dual validation, providing accurate readings of samples with settling matter.
The Compact Turbimeter features several operating modes, including continuous measurement, averaging and suspended solids. It has a high resolution of 0.01 NTU in the 0 – 1 NTU range, and a wide dynamic range of 0 – 1050 NTU with results available in other units. All results are logged and tagged with operator and site identity information, along with calibration data for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliance.
The meter is waterproof to IP67 and conforms to ISO 7027 standards. It includes a hard case with stable calibration standards, test tubes and silicone oil for full operation in the field.
