METTLER TOLEDO Exhibits at POWTECH International trade Fair

Nuremberg, Germany. 17th April 2013—METTLER TOLEDO, a global leader in weighing technology, is pleased to be an exhibitor at POWTECH, an international trade fair for mechanical processing technologies and instrumentation. At POWTECH, METTLER TOLEDO will showcase a robot made in collaboration with Asyril SA, a developer of miniature mechatronic devices of automation in micro-, nano- and bio-technology.

The robot is an automatic vial-weighing device that replaces manual weighing and calibrating. This robot ensures accurate weighing and calibration and gives scientists and engineers more time to work on more important tasks while reducing the risk of manual error. It has an incorporated high-precision weigh module made by METTLER TOLEDO and is made for use in chemical and pharmaceutical applications that demand accurate weighing and calibration.

The event will feature international experts from the fields of chemicals and pharmaceuticals, food and feed, building and quarrying, ceramic and glass, wood and paper and many others. More than 700 exhibitors from 26 countries are expected at the trade fair, held April 23-25 in Nuremburg, Germany.
