BMG LABTECH´s proprietary LVis Plate is a low volume and cuvette port based microplate for absorbance measurements that also incorporates instrument performance testing features.
The LVis Plate is equipped with sixteen low volume microdrop well sites for quick and easy measurement of samples down to 2µL.Due to the quick clean surface, it is easy to wipe off and prepare for further measurements. It also incorporates a support for an 8 channel pipette, making pipetting easy for both left-and right-handed users.
Additionally, using the horizontal cuvette placement, it is possible to read standard rectangular cuvettes for rapid, full spectrum analysis of individual samples for kinetic studies or quick experiments.
This accessory for extended measurement capabilities also has optical density (OD) filters which can be used to perform quality control checks, in order to ensure correct instrument function, including absorbance intensity and wavelength accuracy, thus improving process reliability in laboratories.
