The Sorbtech Rocket from Sorbent Technologies, Inc. is a TLC small-scale development chamber that reduces solvent consumption by 80–85% and delivers more efficient, effective, and safer handling of thin-layer chromatography. Designed for 2.5 × 7.5 cm (1 in. × 3 in.) TLC plates, the development chamber works with glass, plastic, and aluminum-backed plates. Because the development chamber significantly reduces solvent requirements, Rf overruns are eliminated and overall operational time is faster. The TLC plate remains in the same orientation, making the testing process more consistent test to test. In addition, the rocket-shaped lid and white background provide easier visualization.
