January 20, 2012—The new KNF SC950 vacuum pump system with wireless remote introduces a powerful and flexible solution for a wide range of laboratory applications. This latest addition to the KNF SC lab pump system product line will be introduced at Booth #2080 during Pittcon 2012 in Orlando from March 11-15.
The SC950 system features a high 50 l/min pumping capacity and a deep 1.5 Torr end vacuum to enable shorter processing time with a wide range of solvents. The user-friendly wireless remote control enables the system to be operated within a fume hood with the sash closed for added safety benefits and energy savings.
The system’s design conserves valuable laboratory space by allowing the system to be positioned in remote locations, such as within a cabinet or on a shelf. The system also can be controlled remotely from a PC using the supplied Windows®-based software that has process recording capability.
The system features four operating modes to ensure maximum flexibility. Vessel Evacuation, Constant Pressure Control, Automatic Vapor Pressure Determination, and Individual Pressure Function (operates according to a user defined pressure curve) are all available from the handheld remote or via PC control.
