The system provides frame rates of up to 3,500 frames per second (fps) at full image resolution, outstanding image quality with 12-bit ADC and high light sensitivity (5,000 ISO monochrome, 2,500 color ISO measured to ISO standard 12232 Ssat specification). The Fastcam SA7 has been designed to satisfy the requirements of a wide variety of high speed imaging applications including automotive safety testing. The system has already been selected by a leading international automotive manufacturer to provide high speed image capture and motion analysis at an innovative automotive safety laboratory facility recently commissioned in Japan.
