Protecting sample integrity starts with the right sample tube. The FluidX range of sample storage tubes from Azenta Life Sciences have been designed and independently tested to be free of leachables and extractables. This was done by overcoming the problems of ice on the base of tubes and racks using novel RITrack radiofrequency with tagging that eliminates the frustration of racks and tubes that cannot be read due to excessive frosting.

Using high-speed, web-based communications protocols, Azenta Life Sciences’ advanced software can run just one reader in your lab, or multiple readers connected over a local area network, controlled directly from Wi-Fi-connected smartphones, tablets or laptops. Moreover, with integration into an inventory management system, such as FreezerPro, biobankers can ensure samples are stored at the correct temperature and restrict sample access to registered users—maintaining a complete audit trail, chain of custody and chain of condition for all samples.
